3-Way Championship Criteria

 

The 3-Way Champion Medals (Gold, Silver, and Bronze) will be awarded to the top three (3), High Point Wrestlers for each Division and Weight Class.  Points will be awarded as follows:

 

10 points awarded for 1st Place

  8 points awarded for 2nd Place

  6 points awarded for 3rd Place

  4 points awarded for 4th Place

  2 points awarded for 5th Place

  1 points awarded for 6th Place

 

 

Example: The following three (3) wrestlers all competed in Novice 60lbs

 

Taz Manian wins 1st place Freestyle (10 points), 2nd  place Greco-Roman (8 points), and 1st place Folkstyle (10 points), has a combined total of 28 points.

 

Joe Stud wins 3rd place Freestyle (6 points), 1st place Greco-Roman (10 points), and 2nd place Folkstyle (8 points), has a combined total of 24.

 

Letz Rock wins 2nd place Freestyle (8 points), 3rd place Greco-Roman (7 points), and 4th place Folkstyle (4 points), has a combined total of 18.

 

In this case Taz Manian (28 points) would win the GOLD 3-WAY title, Joe Stud (24 points) would win the SILVER 3-WAY title, and Letz Rock (18 points) would be awarded the BRONZE 3-WAY title.

 

In the event of a tie, the following criteria will be used:

 

·        # Unsportsmanlike Conducts (least number wins tie-breaker)

·        Head to Head (all styles)

·        Most Falls (combined all styles)

·        Least cumulative time for Falls (combined all styles)

·        Most Technical Falls (combined all styles)

·        Least cumulative time for Technical Falls (combined all styles)

·        Most match points scored (combined all styles)

 

In the event two or more wrestlers are still tied then both wrestlers will be awarded the same medal.
